Description:

We are looking for an accounting professional who has experience in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Medical Billing, Cash Receipts, and Payroll processing in California. This position will work directly for our Executive Director and is responsible for accurate income and expense accounting functions. You must be able to work with residents, their families, staff, and the public on a personal basis under all conditions. This key position is responsible for all revenue billings whether insurance companies, Medicare or Medi-cal, or direct resident billing; all accounts payable processing; and payroll responsibilities relating to time clock system. We are seeking a candidate with the desire and willingness to work in a collaborative environment for the improved care and satisfaction of our residents.

Qualifications:
• Accounting education either college or business training

Description:

The C.N.A. provides basic, effective nursing care to residents in the Health Care Unit under the direction of the Charge Nurse and with the supervision of the Director of Nursing. Description:

The Dining Services Director is responsible for the safe, efficient, and smooth functioning of the dietary department including providing cost effective, high quality food and service to all Friends House residents.  The Director is charged with maintaining safe and sanitary food service operations in accordance with State, Federal and local health regulations, including record keeping.  You will develop and manage the dietary department operational budget including food and personnel costs.  This Director is responsible for staffing issues, evaluating performance, conflict resolution, hiring, training, and disciplinary action in accord with Human Resources.  You will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team and completes nutrition screening, dietary assessments, MDS assessments, care plans and food preferences of the Health Care Unit residents.
 
Qualifications, Training and Experience
 
The applicant should hold a Certified Food Services Managers Certificate and a certification in Dietetic Technology, or as a Registered Dietitian.  Successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as Food Service Director in a similar facility or comparable experience.

The Friends House Bus Driver is tasked with providing safe transportation and exceptional customer service to our residents and will report to our Resident Services Director.  The driver will have a good working knowledge of the Santa Rosa area and may occasionally be called upon to transport a resident to the San Francisco Bay Area. This position is also tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of the two company vehicles plus pre-trip safety inspections. Qualifications:

  • Holds and maintains a current Commercial Driver License, class B with Passenger Endorsement.
  • Driver must be 25 years of age or older
