The Dining Services Director is responsible for the safe, efficient, and smooth functioning of the dietary department including providing cost effective, high quality food and service to all Friends House residents. The Director is charged with maintaining safe and sanitary food service operations in accordance with State, Federal and local health regulations, including record keeping. You will develop and manage the dietary department operational budget including food and personnel costs. This Director is responsible for staffing issues, evaluating performance, conflict resolution, hiring, training, and disciplinary action in accord with Human Resources. You will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team and completes nutrition screening, dietary assessments, MDS assessments, care plans and food preferences of the Health Care Unit residents.
Qualifications, Training and Experience
The applicant should hold a Certified Food Services Managers Certificate and a certification in Dietetic Technology, or as a Registered Dietitian. Successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as Food Service Director in a similar facility or comparable experience.

The Friends House Bus Driver is tasked with providing safe transportation and exceptional customer service to our residents and will report to our Resident Services Director. The driver will have a good working knowledge of the Santa Rosa area and may occasionally be called upon to transport a resident to the San Francisco Bay Area. This position is also tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of the two company vehicles plus pre-trip safety inspections. Friends House is looking for a Registered Nurse to serve as our Resident Care Manager (RCM). The RCM will ensure the delivery of person-centered, individualized, and clinically competent care. The RCM coordinates and manages the overall care delivered to residents, both temporary and permanent in the Health Care Unit. The RCM will use their knowledge of professional nursing principles and concepts to assure that all services are appropriate to meet each resident’s needs and in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
This position is responsible for completing all necessary documentation to meet State and federal compliance for long-term care and/or skilled nursing including the Minimal Data Set requirements for all Health Center residents.
