Description:

The C.N.A. provides basic, effective nursing care to residents in the Health Care Unit under the direction of the Charge Nurse and with the supervision of the Director of Nursing. Nurse Aides will assist with activities of daily living which may include dressing, grooming, hygiene, eating, hydration, and mobility. Qualifications:

Description:

Friends House, a Quaker inspired elder community, is seeking an experienced Development Manager for continuing care retirement community.  We are looking for a candidate with at least five years of experience in the fund development field. This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position that reports directly to the Executive Director.  The ideal candidate will have a practical understanding of fundraising, planned giving, estate planning, income, gift and estate taxes, and foundation management.

 

The Development Manager, in coordination with the Board of Directors, Friends House residents, and the Executive Director, plans, organizes, directs, and promotes an ongoing development program designed to fulfill Friends House Mission Statement.  This position is to coordinate activities in the development of an ongoing support program by developing public/private sources of funding including gift cultivation, grants, endowments, trusts, planned giving programs, special events, and other sources of non-tax supported revenues.  We are seeking candidates with the desire and willingness to work in a team environment for the improved care and satisfaction of our residents.

Qualifications

Education
  • BS/BA degree in Healthcare, Business, or a related field is preferred. 
Experience
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in retirement community operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, and program development. 
  • Requires significant advanced knowledge of retirement living, and the healthcare or a related field.
  • A knowledge of Continuing Care Retirement Communities is preferred.
  • A current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver license and be insurable under our corporate insurance carrier.
